During a conversation with the previous owners of the plot, we learned that the writer and poet Jam, from Samoëns, was one of their ancestors and had lived in the family farmhouse that we are restoring, where he found his inspiration and wrote his verses in Savoyard! Having heard this beautiful story, rooted in local heritage and the very soil of this plot, we wanted a name that would reflect his talent and thus pay tribute to this distinguished poet of the village.

At the entrance, the common areas, including porcelain stoneware tiles (to facilitate cleaning of passageways with bicycles and skis) and decorative wall coverings, will be designed by our interior decorator. Wood or aluminum joinery, security glazing with a video intercom connected to each apartment (opening with a code and badge, to avoid having to remove ski gloves, for example).

The apartments perfectly blend chalet charm with modern, state-of-the-art features. An authentic mountain style is evident in the interior wooden doors, smooth painted walls throughout, wood paneling on one wall in the living room, full-height tiled walls around the shower/bathtub and vanity unit, 60x60 cm tiles in the living room, and engineered wood flooring with solid wood veneer in the bedrooms. Wardrobes with wood-effect sliding doors and interior fittings are included, as well as Tv outlets in the living room and master bedroom. The kitchens are fully equipped, and the bathrooms are functional, featuring thermostatic faucets, chrome mixer taps and hand showers, vanity units and illuminated mirrors, electric towel warmers, wall-hung toilets with dual-flush cisterns, and single-flow humidity-controlled ventilation.
All apartments have one or two parking spaces, a cellar, and a ski room equipped with boot warmers. Heating and hot water will be connected to the municipal network of Samoëns. Underfloor heating is planned for all apartments. The attic apartments will be equipped with a metal flue for connection to a future wood-burning stove.
