Location
The house is located on a residential estate of individual properties in the hamlet of La Terriere. The hamlet has it's own bakery, bar and restaurant about 500metres away. The main town is approximately 20 minutes walk or five minutes by car. The resort of La Tranche sur Mer has many restaurants, bars and shops and a town beach. There is a Tourist Office and many activities (often free) are organised in the Summer months.
The nearest beach is also about twenty minutes walk or a few minutes by car or cycle. La Roche sur Yon has a mainline railway station approximately 45 minutes by car or public bus service.
Nearest Ferry port is at Saint Malo for crossings to the UK or Channel Islands. It is about three hours drive.

Interior
The layout has been designed to make the most of the views out to the swimming pool with most rooms looking out that way. the ground floor is semi open-plan but preserves individual areas for dining, sitting and cooking.
