The island of Noirmoutier is a tidal island off the Atlantic coast of France in the Vendée department (85). It is flooded twice a day by the high tide. You can also access the island at any time with bridge that connects it to the mainland.
The closest airport is 80 kms (1h15 minutes) away in Nantes (6th largest city in France). The TGV railway station is 95 kms away in Nantes as well (1h30). The property is located two blocks from the regional bus station that will take you these locations. The closest smaller towns off the island are Notre-Dame-De-Monts, Saint-Jean-de-Monts and Challans.
