This magnificent ancient secular abbey, referenced in 1327 in the Pamplona archives, is steeped in history. It is one of the three noble secular abbeys of Soule in the Basque Country. Five lines of lords succeeded each other at the "Château", where the mother of the famous captain of the Musketeers, the Count of Tréville, hero of the Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas was born.
